WATCH: “She (I Can’t Resist)” by Jesse Johnson on Soul Train

Sort of random but I can’t tell you guys how much I love watching old school dance shows on YouTube. Brings back memories of growing up on The Grind and Soul Train. Also watching people prance around in crazy ass outfits makes me a jolly girl. Check out the Rosie Perez cameo - you better werk.

WATCH: “Oh No!” by Marina and the Diamonds

Happy Friday! New video from Marina and the Diamonds for “Oh No!”. Blog-worthy for 3 reasons: 1. The song - love how heavy the bass line is because it makes a simple pop song seem really epic. 2. I wish my life was exactly like this video. Y’know frolicking in red bubble wrap and SEQUINS. 3. Most importantly, the song title reminds me of Bruce from Family Guy. Oh noessssss y’all!

WATCH: “Get Wild” by Kano Featuring Aidonia and Wiley

FYI, start watching this at 54 seconds to avoid annoying radio noises and stuff. CLUB BANGGERRRRRRRR. With some help from Boys Noize (on this track), Hot Chip and others, Kano is getting ready to release his album Method to Maadness in August. The beat definitely sounds like Boys Noize but with dancehall all up on this, its like a Major Lazer x grime love child or something. Not a bad thing because now I just want to have a sweaty dance party.
