Apparently the tale of Frank Lucas resonates with the themes explored through 1970’s Bollywood, and Music Without Borders, feeling the inspiration, has created Hindustani Gangster blending Jay-Z’s drug dealer narratives with sounds from Bollywood and Bhangra.

I usually hate posting blends/mashups/whathaveyou since there are just so many out there and most are crap… new DJs/producers carelessly and quickly putting something together to get noticed. But a friend put me onto Hidustani Gangster and my goodness, this is an exception. Highly recommended. I’ve been playing this all week.
