We made this thinking of what could be the best thing to play at your house, on a friday night, when your friends are bumrushing your flat and your neighbours/parents/neighbourhood cops are out of town.

Pretty sure I’m like one of 5 people in the world who like Uffie. Not too big of a fan of the original “Pop the Glock” though - just didn’t really appeal to me. Mehdi’s edit sounds great though - 80s muzakk lesssgoooo.

A-Trak asked me to do it for a possible Fools Gold release of this baby, around September 2008. I guess, by the time I got to finish this (which I never really did), them crooks and the Cleveland kid were touching the stratosphere with their ‘Day and Night’ bomb, and thus never dropped ‘The Martian’. It’s not the most inspired remix I ever did, but I still enjoy playing it from time to time. Enjoy—
I agree, its an okay remix. More excited for the fact that Mehdi is releasing a remix compiliation right now tentatively called Red Black and Blue on 9/9/09. Dude needs more remixes to be produced now.
