Mmmm new Crookers. Seems like a ton of  tracks from the Crookers’s Tons of Friends are leaking but this one (and “We Love Animals” with Soulwax and Mixhell) is probably one of my favorites so far. Featuring Iceland’s Steed Lord, “Transilvania” is delightfully dark sounding but is almost more of an evil oompa loompa pop track (um yeah I don’t know what I meant by that) than a crazed rave-friendly song. I lllikkkeeeee it.

LISTEN: Crookers featuring Soulwax and Mixhell

Can’t quite find the title of this track. Something to do with animals and forests and jungles and you. Great track though - honestly getting a bit tired of Crookers recently but this definitely makes them awesome again. Also love hearing anything that has Soulwax’s name remotely near it.

Song will be released on Crooker’s Tons of Friends in March 2010.

Oh snap. I’ve been jealous that LA keeps getting HARD fests but now they got in New York. Now if only they could bring back Soulwax…
