Lots of A-Trak love recently on Beatcakes but I can’t help it. A-Trak was recently at LA’s Power 106 and played a 23 minute set. Expect lots of random blips of “FOOOOLSSS GOLLDDDDD”, random convos, sirens and of course, lots of dance-friendly hip hop and das haus muzak. It’s crazy how far this kind of music has gone into the mainstream - I remember peeing myself when I heard Kid Sister on Hot 97 (hi New York!) 2 years ago. Great testament to what the state of music is today you guys. Also, I love that I’ve heard a lot of songs before but its crazy how putting them in a new set really refreshes each song and makes them feel new again.
